For Sharon Taylor, stories begin with a sound, the first quiet note of something waiting to be discovered.
Sharon is a writer, professional vocalist, pianist, artist, and teacher based in Middle Tennessee. Her creative life has taken her from session work and the Nashville Symphony Chorus to the classroom, where she teaches music and art in the Nashville area.
Follow the Star brings together her love of music, storytelling, illustration, and her Christian faith. Originally written as a full musical with ten original songs, the story follows Judith on an extraordinary journey to Jesus.
Through its music and illustrated books, Sharon invites readers and listeners to share Judith’s wonder, discover the meaning of a gift freely given, and see a familiar story through a young girl’s eyes.
When she is not writing, Sharon can usually be found singing, teaching, painting, or imagining the next story waiting to be told.
